A Salute to Coach Tara

I will come out and say it right off the bat...Coach Tara was fully informed that this post was coming.  Whether she believed my threats or not is another story.

Coach Tara joined our coaching staff for the 2015 WCSG after being a part of our 2013 Canada Games program.  She has done an amazing job of not only coaching our athletes but also being the best role model we could find when it comes to work ethic both on and off the diamond.  She will go out for extra fly balls, batting practice at the cages, infield work anywhere and anytime.  And she did an excellent job dealing with our clothing and gear order- for that we can't thank her enough.  And by "we"...that really means me.

Throughout the past year with Team Toba 2015, Coach Tara has popped up in a lot of my pictures, mostly posing in a girly way like we're having a photoshoot on the ball diamond.  What has happened in the last two years, I struggled to find this one of her from 2013?!

But she did take this one like a champ when I insisted that we have a picture with Bylaw Bob...Coach Tara doesn't care for mascots...
