Tattoo Madness!

What else would you do if you were stuck in Sherbrooke with nothing to do all day before your flight?  I would trade all my clothing on a curb to young, unsuspecting newbies, but perhaps I'm just old fashioned.

And NO, the coaching staff did not force them to do this despite the rumours that were being passed around at the airport when we got back!  A great way to commemorate a great life experience with great teammates though!

The Secret to Our Success

Team Toba had a little secret weapon while they were in Sherbrooke...for each win, the winner of Le Chapeau was given the the opportunity to paint one of Coach Wayne's nails.  At the end of the round robin portion of the tournament, Coach Wayne had 8 gold nails and one black nail...however that one was covered up with our victory in the 1 vs. 2 game.

Coach Wayne was such a good sport about it, and even returned home to his wife and daughters with the nail polish on!  Perhaps he'll be booking in to have regular manicures and pedicures from now on?

Photo Club

I have a LOT of extra photos to post that don't belong with other posts...here are a few!

Courtney and her dad at opening ceremonies.

Strange bugs have been eating the leaves.

An artistic shot by Tara.

A common sight...although it usually passes quickly.

Garbage bag poncho fashions.

Coach Wayne got to use some tools!

Unfortunately this number didn't make it's way to Sherbrooke.

That's way too many fedoras...even one is too many.

If only grey pants were part of our uniform...

Visit With a VIP!

During our rain delay in the second game we had a visit from the Minister of Sport, Bal Gosal! He was very enthusiastic to shake everyone's hand, offer up some words of enthusiasm and do a cheer with us!

Video of the cheer to follow when I can remember my YouTube password :)

Opening Ceremonies

Did you see us on tv last night?! Opening ceremonies were held last night at the University of Sherbrooke and it was a long but fun event where we got to march in, see some good entertainment and ring our Team Toba cowbells! I can still hear them ringing in my ears so I don't think we need anymore cowbell.
