Game Results- Wednesday July 24

Tonight Team Toba played their last two games before departing for Sherbrooke next Thursday, taking on Smitty's Sr. at Holenski Field.  In the first game, the ladies battled back in the top of the 7th inning to tie the game, however Smitty's scored in the bottom of the 7th to win 4-3.  We're not quite sure what the score was in the second game, because I was busy chasing fly balls and mosquitos in right field.  And quite frankly, the mosquitos probably won in in the end.  Winner of The Hat was Regan, she had two hits and got on base three times in the first game and did a great job on the mound in the second game (despite an interesting strike zone...).  Jade was away tonight, so we missed our usual photobomb :(

The ladies have a bit of time now to get rested up, continue to acclimatize at hot yoga, and get in some more practice before they depart next Thursday.  Don't worry, I will make sure that I'm well-rested and able to keep up with the blogging in the home stretch (and thank you for all of the jokes at the game tonight, they were all very clever).  Keep your eyes on the blog for several more posts before our departure!
