Team Toba got out of bed and right back on the bats Sunday morning! In game #3 of the series at 11am, the ladies took the game 9-1 in 5 innings, with some great hitting again and a 3-run home run by Brigitte! The final game of the series wasn't completed due to the crazy storms that made their way into the area...Team Toba was on the verge of taking the lead when we had to pack it in for the weekend.
Thanks so much to the Westman Umpires Association for planning last weekend's event, it was months in the making and it all went off smoothly and both teams got in some great practice before heading to Sherbrooke next week. Team Toba's final league games before they depart will be this Wednesday at Holenski Field at 7pm vs. Smitty's Sr.
