Flashback Friday

Those of you who have participated in a multi-sport games know how exciting it can be to get all done up in black and gold and cheer for Team Toba.  It was a big deal for me to be a member of the 2001 Canada Summer Games Softball Team...along with none other than Coach Haylee and Coach Niki!  This event was probably one of the highlights of my softball career, and I'm really looking forward to being at the Games again in a different capacity (but wishing I was on the field).

I dug out all of my mementos, here are some photos of the photos...this was WAY back in the day in 2001 before digital cameras and The Facebook!  The vintage clothing will also be making an appearance at practices in the near future!

My pins!  I managed to get one from every province (including Nunavut...NO ONE had a Nunavut!).  I will teach you the ways of bargaining and swindling if you are interested :)
