Some of you may already know that this coming Saturday, Sandy Maskiw (Newsham) will be inducted into the Manitoba Sports Hall of Fame! Sandy is one of the most accomplished Softball Athletes to ever come out of Manitoba, and it wonderful to see her inducted into the Hall of Fame.
Sandy was once a Team Manitoba Athlete and came away from the 1989 Canada Games with a bronze medal. Sandy was still playing competitive fastpitch up until a couple years ago and yet I'm sure many of you have never seen her play. Below is a list of her amazing accomplishments.
