College Update #12

This will be the final college update of 2017...stay tuned for more Team Toba news, we'll be starting our player profiles soon along with some information about the upcoming Canada Games...73 days to go!

Julianna Waldner- Columbia College Cougars (Columbia, MO)

It's looking good for the Cougars in the opening round of the NAIA National Championship in Columbia, MO- they are currently awaiting their opponent in the championship game, which is being played tomorrow (Wednesday) at noon!  If the Cougars can win, they'll head to the NAIA Softball World Series May 26-June 1 in Clermont, FL.  For updates check here:    http://www.columbiacougars.com.

Maddie Hope- South Dakota State University (Brookings, SD)

Unfortunately the Jackrabbits couldn't get past Western Illinois at the Summit League Tournament and their season has come to a close.  Bring on senior year for Maddie, looking forward to seeing you build on some of the successes from this season.

Mary Martin- University of North Dakota (Grand Forks, ND)

Last Friday the Fighting Hawks had a great start to the Big Sky Tournament, but unfortunately couldn't get past Idaho State and were eliminated from the tournament.  Congratulations to Mary on a great sophomore season!
