A few of our gals' teams weren't in action this weekend but we still have a few updates to report:
Maddie Hope- South Dakota State University (Brookings, SD)
Maddie saw quite a bit of pitching action this past weekend in tournament play in Texas, with the highlight of combining with another Jackrabbit pitcher for a one-hitter in a win on Sunday before heading back home. Next up is a series of neutral-site and tournament games in Florida next week!
Mary Martin- University of North Dakota (Grand Forks, ND)
Although the Fighting Hawks only won one of their games this past weekend at the Tiger Invitational at Auburn University, there were a couple of highlights courtesy of Mary! Mary saw quite a few innings of catching action, and helped hold the #2 Auburn Tigers to five scoreless innings in their game on Friday. She also scored a run thanks to some heads up base running in a loss to UMass-Lowell, and was the starting catcher in UND's win against Yale on Sunday to close out the tournament. Next up is five games at the Coastal Carolina Tournament this weekend!
Shaye Kemball- Mayville State University (Mayville, ND)
The Comets travelled back to South Dakota this weekend for some conference game and earned their first win of the season. Shaye had a great weekend on the mound, pitching two complete games (one of them was the win). Next up is Arizona in a couple of weeks!
Brigitte Gauvin- University of the Incarnate Word (San Antonio, TX)
Well, it wasn't an amazing weekend for the Cardinals at their tournament BUT they did secure their program's first ever win against the University of Texas San Antonio in a thrilling 9 inning game on Friday! Next up is more tournament play in Arlington, TX next weekend.

Maddie Hope- South Dakota State University (Brookings, SD)
The SDSU Jackrabbits had a mixed weekend at their tournament in Florida, finishing with a record of 2-3. In their fifth game of the tournament, Maddie shut down the Kansas Jayhawks for the final three innings, earning her second save of the year. Shaye Kemball- Mayville State University (Mayville, ND)

Zoe Hicks- Iowa Western Community College (Council Bluffs, IA)
Zoe had quite a bit of game action this weekend in Iowa, with 3 singles and 4 RBI in two wins for the Reivers. Next up is another doubleheader today at home in Iowa.
Brigitte Gauvin- University of the Incarnate Word (San Antonio, TX)
The Cardinals had a tough weekend at the Rawlings tournament in Houston, but will be looking to pick up a few more wins this coming weekend at the UTSA tournament at home in San Antonio.
Tamara McVannel- University of Regina
Unfortunately the Cougars lost a pair of one goal games against U of S on the weekend, eliminating them from the Canada West playoffs. Tamara did contribute with a goal in Game #1 of the series though! We look forward to Tamara re-joining Team Toba in the spring after final exams!
