Today was finally the day! Team Toba took the field at WCSG with games against BC, Alberta and Sask. It was a great day on the diamond, with the team finishing with a record of 2-1 after not one, not two but THREE extra inning games!!! When was the last time that ever happened? The team did an amazing job staying composed on the field during each of the games, and had quite a few timely plays in each game to keep themselves within striking distance. Final scores were:
BC 1 Toba 0 (8 innings)
Toba 2 Alberta 1 (8 innings)
Toba 6 Sask 5 (9 innings)
Tomorrow is much the same with games against all three teams again.
