A Salute to Coach Niki

I wasn't going to do one of these for Coach Niki since she's not a rookie with Team Toba anymore...but then I found some good photos and thought why the heck not?!

Coach Niki's role has certainly evolved from her start as an Apprentice Coach with Team Toba 2013.

With our coaching situation this round, Coach Niki had to assume more of a head coach role especially at WCSG, and I can honestly say she did an amazing job.  Coach Niki has this calm, quiet presence when addressing the team and coaching in a game...and then BAM she slips in a weird joke that totally cuts the tension.  It definitely is a unique coaching trait that is not taught in any coaching module that I know of.

And who could forget when she was Global TV Coach of the Month?  It definitely was a testament to all of the hard work she's put in to developing young softball athletes and the dedication she's shown to being the best coach possible.

Here's to you, Coach Niki, for a great job coaching at third base and an outstanding job with Team Toba 2015- we couldn't have done it without you.  We love you!

Oh, and if you're wondering when Coach Haylee and I will have our own posts, don't spend too much time on it.  Clearly those posts do not exist because I am the one with the camera (so I guess I can just post some photos of me and be done with it?) and I also value my life...so I will not be sharing any of the funny pics I have of Coach Haylee from the past year.  Although they may come in handy one day...so I'll just hold off on deleting them...mwahahahahahaha.
