This past weekend Team Toba travelled to Fleming, Saskatchewan for a Border Battle with Team Sask. In true road-trip style, we loaded up the vans, had naps as soon as we left (1 Direction was to blame), played some ridiculous music and stopped for our 2nd bi-annual team photo at the Saskatchewan welcome sign.
We played four really close games with Team Sask, ending with a record of 1-2-1. On Saturday night after a hot day on the diamond we attended a barbeque with Team Sask at their coach's farm complete with raspberry picking, smores and some lovely dogs and cats.
Huge thanks goes out to Team Sask and their coach, Andi, for hosting us this weekend and for all of the planning that went into weekend. And also special thanks to our #1 Bat Girl, Beanie! You collected those bats like a boss. We had a great time at the barbeque and at our accommodations on Saturday night. See you at the Games in a few weeks!

| Kendall had a tough day but was a real trooper. Yes that is a tampon up her nose. Yes that is an actually method to stop a nosebleed. And Makenna will be signing up for an umpiring course next year with that Blue Steel look. |
