What University/College will you be attending in Fall 2015: University of Manitoba

What will be your Field of Study: Science

What is the best advice you have been given so far about University/College: Don’t be afraid to step out of the box and don’t stress over the little things.

What are you looking forward to about University/College: Moving on to the next step in life and experiencing a ton of new things! It’s a little scary but exciting at the same time.
What are some of your softball dreams and goals: To have a high number of stolen bases this season (at least 1 per game) and to be able to play the game I love for life.

What character trait do you value most in your teammates: Positivity, engagement, and the drive to win no matter what.

Why do you love softball: I love softball because it gives you a strong feeling of confidence not only in yourself but also in your team. You are independent to an extent but you’re also with a team that always has your back and that’s extremely encouraging. There’s also no other feeling like having a solid hit right on the sweet spot or winning a big game with your team.

Other than softball, some of my other hobbies and passions are: Any sport really, boxing, quadding, hanging out with friends, and reading.

Other sports I have played are: Figure skating and track!

Most memorable sporting experience: Winning High School Provincials in 2014 and receiving MVP of the tournament.

Who is your biggest inspiration: My mother. If I can grow up to be half the person she is, I will have succeeded in life.
