The Last Post

This will be the final post of the Team Toba blog.  It's been almost 200 posts combined between the Master Blogger and Coach Haylee, can you believe it?!  And with this last post we should reach almost 30 000 page views.  Thank you for all of the kind words and comments over the past few months, I'm glad that our little blog has provided you with some entertainment and excitement about Team Toba softball!

Thanks to everyone who supported Team Toba over the past 18 months and who will continue to support them in the future.  Heck yes, we won a silver medal at the 2013 Canada Games!!!  A huge thank you to the parents for being there to support the team along the way, we had an amazing turnout at our games all year.  A big thank you also goes out to Carmen for her extra work as our parent liason with Team Toba.

To the coaching staff, Coach Haylee, Coach Wayne and Coach Niki...you made my day by letting me refer to you guys with "Coach" in front of your names lol.  And by letting me play right field in a couple of games.  We almost killed each other but we made it in the end (who wound up with that stick anyways?)!  Not sure if you'll ever be the same, though, Coach Wayne!

And to the girls, thanks for your hardwork and perseverance throughout the whole process, and for being good sports about the endless photos and organizing.  When you look back in 12 years like Coach Haylee, Coach Niki and I did, and you're admiring your silver medal and shaking your head at  your walkout gear...just remember that the Master Blogger got the ENTIRE narwhal pin set and the bobblehead husky AND still has a bobblehead buffalo to show for it :)
