Game Results- Tuesday July 9 & Wednesday July 10

Team Toba had a busy week!  On Tuesday the ladies took on the Seine River Selects in a doubleheader on Holenski Field.  Team Toba took both games with scores of 3-0 in the first game and 5-0 in the second game.  We had a lot of fans out, including our trainers from the Sport for Life Centre!  It was cool outside...but not sure the thick blanket was required?!  And a hood, Neil?

You'll notice that The Hat is missing and we had to use a fill-in...I will publicly OUT Crash for forgetting to bring it after she won it last week.

On Wednesday night Team Toba took on Smitty's Sr. in a 9-inning game on Holenski Field.  Final score was 3-1 in favor of our girls, even with Jill pitching for Smitty's and making far too many outs at first.  Jill actually got the win AND the loss in this game...she switched to pitch for Smitty's halfway through the game...thanks to Randall for pointing this out!  Well done to Taylor in her first game back after an injury break, we missed you with the scorebook...but we'd much rather see you playing on the field.  Stef was also returning from injury and played great at third base and had some great hits, so she was the winner of The Hat (which was back- thanks Crash).  

It's funny that I have to wait to take these Hat pictures until someone comes in for the photo bomb...

Team Toba has a couple of practices this weekend while our U18 ladies are playing in provincials- good luck to them!  Next week we've got the Team Toba Pep Rally and a doubleheader on Wednesday.
