Team Toba met tonight after training to work on their concentration and focus. The girls learned all about concentration cues, focal points, focus plans, and found out just how hard it is to stare/focus on a softball for 1 minute and not let your mind wander! You wouldn't believe some of the things people see (and hear haha) when they are intensely focused.... faces...laces...chewing...breathing...tapping...music...the debrief provided us all a lot of entertainment.
Emily works hard to keep her focus and find as many numbers as she can while Abbey and Mac do everything in their power to distract her.
Mads keeps Makenna distracted by keeping her laughing! I think Mads probably employs this same strategy with her teachers....coaches....trainers...parents...
